Drivers and Bikers from across Kane County toured in and around the St. Charles area in search of the best poker hand as they raised awareness of the Samanth Joos Memorial Fund benefiting the Friends of the KCAC.  As they toured, participants stopped at local sponsoring businesses to collect special playing cards to be used in building the best hand.  This program benefited everyone involved as businesses got traffic and awareness, and the children of abuse that the Friends of the KCAC aims to support got increased exposure and, of course, donations.

Counseling, medical attention and life necessities are a few of the variety of services these contributions will help to provide to the children at the Center.  It is through the generosity of people such as those participating in this event that abused children in our communities are able to heal from their abuse and become children once again.
